SafeHaven Humane Society is a non-profit, privately funded, limited admission shelter, that does not use euthanasia for population control. We receive no funding from the city, county, state or federal government to operate. Donations from you keep our doors open to the over 1,100 animals we take in and adopt out each year. Thank You!

We never take a holiday from taking care of the animals however the shelter will be closed to the public Saturday July 4th.

We Need Books!
Donate your gently used Books, books on tape, CD's, DVD's and records, We cannot accept: textbooks, readers digest condensed books, magazines, computer books published more than 10 years ago, or encycolpedias published more than 10 years ago. Please bring you tax deductible donations to the shelter at 33071 Hwy 34, Albany.
