Goofy is an adult male Rottweiller Cross. Both he and Sheba were found wandering around rail road tracks for 3 months before they could be caught. Once caught they spent some time being socialized and cared for and now they are ready to find their forever homes. Both Goofy and Sheba have been at the shelter for months now and they are part of our training program which includes two follow up visits with the trainer after they are adopted. They have already come a long ways and have learned sit very well.

Conan- Oh if dogs could talk this guy could tell a story. One of abandonment and near starvation. Scrounging for food on dead carcasses and desperately trying to find shelter. For at least a month this guy fended for himself until he was trapped by a local animal control officer. No surprise no one came to claim this big guy and he was transferred to SafeHaven. Now he's putting weight back on and learning to love his soft bed. We don't know much about him but we do know he's very gentle and seems to like giving kids kisses.

Turbo-adult black lab male. Turbo has gorgeous brown eyes and a great big heart.

Lucky- senior male retriever cross. Lucky is a super sweet gentleman of a dog. He walks great on a leash and knows sit. He needs a fenced yard and doesn't do well with cats. He LOVES kids and is very gentle.
Beagle- female
Domino- American Bulldog young female. Domino has lived with other dogs but may do best as an only child. She is fairly over weight which may be the cause of some of her hip issues. She's very young and such a sweetheart. She can be a little fearful of men at first which may be the result of mistreatment but she will warm up to you when given the chance and lived with both men and women. She's a great dog and looking for her new home.
